How can a comprehensive fertility test help you?
This test gives you valuable insights if you’re considering family planning now or in the future. You can also see if your egg count is in the normal range for your age.
It also shows if you have a condition that might affect your fertility — like a thyroid condition. It won’t tell you how likely you are to get pregnant or if you’re infertile.
Fertility can be affected by:
- long periods of stress
- polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- irregular periods
- being underweight or overweight
Biomarkers Included
DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone)
DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is the most abundant circulating steroid in the body. It is produced primarily in the adrenal glands and acts as a precursor to other sex hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. DHEA peaks in early adulthood and decreases with age.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, or TSH, is produced by the pituitary gland and regulates the production of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland. TSH levels are affected by a number of factors, including stress, diet, and certain medications. An imbalance of TSH levels may indicate an underactive or overactive thyroid, which can cause fatigue and diminish your ability to effectively exercise.
Luteinizing hormone (LH)
LH plays a key role in reproduction. Mid-cycle, your LH levels increase which triggers your ovaries to release an egg — ovulation. If your LH levels are imbalanced, you might have irregular periods and difficulty getting pregnant. Or high LH levels can be a sign that you’re menopausal.
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
FSH helps to regulate your menstrual cycle and plays a key role in egg production and ovulation. If your FSH levels are imbalanced, it can affect your fertility. Or high FSH levels can be a sign that you’re menopausal.
Oestradiol (E2)
Oestradiol (E2) is a type of oestrogen and is the main ‘female’ sex hormone. E2 is essential for egg production, protects you against bone loss, and helps regulate your cholesterol levels.
Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH)
AMH is a hormone released by cells in your developing egg sacs (ovarian follicles). Testing your AMH levels can help determine the number of eggs you have left — your ovarian reserve.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D is essential for your health as it’s needed for healthy bones, muscles, and a strong immune system. There’s also evidence to suggest it might improve your fertility.
HbA1c (glycated haemoglobin)
A HbA1c test measures your average blood glucose levels over the last 3 months. This helps indicate your risk of pre-diabetes and diabetes.

About OUR LABS AND SCIENCE
Certified laboratory + testing method
Accuracy and reliability
Our tests use an accurate and reliable microsampling technique called dried blood spot detection. This detection technology has been used in neonatal care and testing in remote areas since the 60s of the 20th century. You may be familiar with the heel stab marks performed on newborns during the initial health assessment – this is the dried blood spot test. We use the same technology and extend it to a wider range of diagnostic biomarkers to provide more accessible, accessible, and affordable reliable health assessments.
Safety and reliability of laboratory laboratories
The most important thing in everything we do is to provide clinically valid and accurate results and information. Therefore, the laboratories we use are all in the United States and are CLIA accredited and CAP accredited. We pride ourselves on using proven and reliable testing methods, as well as strict quality control measures.
Security and confidentiality
Mojoon strictly adheres to privacy and employs security measures to protect the security of your personal health information. Our platform is equipped with HIPAA-level encryption and security protocols that comply with federal requirements. In addition, every one of our employees, from customer service to CEO, is trained in HIPAA compliance to make your information truly secure and private.
Real User Experiences
Mojoon is incredibly convenient! The blood collection is painless, much better than my previous experiences at the hospital. The test report is very clear and is available in both Chinese and English, making it easier for me to understand. Additionally, the results come with detailed explanations for each biological indicator.
Because I need to prepare for pregnancy, I chose Mojoon's home fertility test. It's really convenient! What used to be at least 2 doctor appointments and at least one laboratory procedure, now it only takes 30 minutes at home. As a result, it can be downloaded directly after 3 days, and it is also bilingual in Chinese and English, which is 100 times easier to read than traditional laboratory reports! I highly recommend Mojoon

Yes. If you have a preexisting health condition, this test can be used to better understand how lifestyle changes or medication may be impacting your condition. However, this test should not be used to replace any blood tests ordered by your doctor.
Yes. You can download your results as a PDF which you can then share with your healthcare provider via email, or by printing and taking them with you to your next appointment.
Your blood test is most accurate if you take it fasted, meaning before you have anything to eat or drink (other than water). We recommend taking it first thing in the morning.
Using the Kit ID number, register your test on mojoon.com/testing. This number is anonymous in our system but allows us to notify you when your test arrives at the lab and your results are ready. It also ensures the lab is able to connect your results to you.
Next, take a moment to get your blood flowing. This will help make your sample collection easier. Drink a tall glass of water for hydration, then wash your hands for a least one minute in warm water to improve circulation and blood flow.
Clean the finger you want to prick with the alcohol wipe. Remove the lancet cap then hold the lancet against the tip of your finger. Press the lancet button to perform the finger prick. Next, hold your pricked finger over the ADX card’s sample collection window. You can gently squeeze your finger to get more droplets (you’ll need about 8 drops in total to fill the card). You may also perform a “milking” motion, applying gentle pressure on either side of the base of your finger and slowly moving toward the fingertip.
Once filled, leave your ADX card to dry for at least one hour. Meanwhile, clean up and dispose of the used collection tools by sealing them into a bag and placing them in the garbage. As soon as your sample is dry, place it into the sample bag and then slide it into the prepaid envelope. You’ll want to mail your test the same day, so head to your nearest mailbox and drop it inside.
You will be notified when your sample arrives at the lab and then again when your results are ready to view.
Depending on your location, it will take 1-3 days for the lab to receive your sample and your result should be expected within 2-3 business days after the lab processes your sample. Most of our customer receive their reports within 4-5 business days.
No, medications will not interfere with the accuracy of the test. However, your results may reflect the impacts that certain medications may be having on your biomarker levels.
No, supplementation will not interfere with the accuracy of the test.
Infertility is the inability to get pregnant after one year of regular unprotected sex. Because fertility is complex, we can’t measure all its contributing factors in a single blood test.
Other factors affecting fertility include fallopian tube damage or endometriosis, which can’t be detected in a blood test.
It’s important to know that many factors affecting fertility can be reversed or treated.
You can do this test any time, but it might be harder for our doctors to interpret your follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinising hormone (LH), and oestradiol results.
We recommend waiting until you have a period to get the most valuable insights from this test. Test on day 3 of your next regular cycle.
Your results might be harder to interpret if you take the contraceptive pill, injections, or have an implant. This doesn’t apply to the hormonal coil.
No, current Mojoon doesn’t accept any forms of insurance.
Nope! Everything, from lab fees to the envelope you mail your sample in, is included in the price of your test.
